CCO Committees

Six committees report directly to the Central Oregon Health Council (COHC) Board of Directors.

These committees support detailed review, oversight, and policy development in key areas of governance, accountability, and regional alignment. Each committee provides recommendations to the Board to strengthen performance, compliance, and community representation.

Community Advisory Council (CAC)

Ensures community members and Oregon Health Plan (OHP) representatives have a formal role in advising the CCO on community needs, service delivery, and health equity priorities.

 

Finance Committee

Oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and fiscal stewardship to ensure responsible management of public Medicaid resources.

 

Governance Committee

Supports Board development and governance effectiveness, including policy review, leadership structure, and accountability practices.

 

Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee (JEDI)

Advances health equity–centered practices across COHC governance and regional strategy, with a focus on reducing disparities and strengthening inclusive decision-making.

 

Operations Council

Provides operational alignment and coordination among  implementation partners to support CCO performance and regional strategy execution.

 

Provider Engagement Panel (PEP)

Engages healthcare providers in performance improvement, clinical alignment, and coordinated delivery system efforts within the CCO.

 

Committee Accountability

All committees operate under Board-approved charters and provide regular reporting to the COHC Board of Directors. Committee structure supports transparency, compliance with Oregon Health Authority legislation, and effective regional oversight.
