Regional Health Improvement Plan (RHIP)
Central Oregon Regional Health Improvement Plan
Every five years, partners across Central Oregon come together to identify the region’s most pressing health priorities and commit to coordinated action.
The Regional Health Improvement Plan (RHIP) is the region’s shared five-year roadmap to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities across Central Oregon.
Developed through community engagement and informed by regional data, the RHIP guides cross-sector collaboration, funding alignment, and measurable progress.
2025–2029 Priority Areas
The current RHIP focuses on six priority areas identified through community input and the Regional Health Assessment.
Each focus area includes measurable goals and collaborative strategies designed to advance health and equity.
The RHIP is grounded in findings from the Regional Health Assessment (RHA).
The RHA analyzes demographic trends, health conditions, and social drivers of health to ensure priorities reflect community need and emerging regional trends.
Why the RHIP Matters
The RHIP provides a shared framework that helps organizations:
- Align programs and investments with regional priorities
- Strengthen grant and funding proposals
- Coordinate efforts across sectors
- Track measurable progress
- Advance health equity through collective action
Regional alignment increases impact.
